It’s one more nice thing about spring – the Blue Belle Inn’s Chicken Salad Croissant is back on our lunch menu. Just call 641-713-3113 to let us know you’re coming (drop-bys are welcome, too) and we’ll have your table ready in a  jiffy.

Another favorite that’s back for spring and summer is our Very Berry Salad – our signature green leaf lettuce topped with garlic chicken bites, fresh berries and vegetables topped with our homemade, low-fat Creamy Raspberry Dressing. If you prefer, you can have a 1/2 salad with a cup of soup (this week’s soup is Tomato Basil with Toast Hearts de Provence).

Our new Italian Meatball Sandwich has also been a hit, and you’ll find all your old favorites, too, along with springtime dessert favorites like Key Lime Cheesecake, Pineapple Upside Down Cake and our much loved Fresh Strawberry Pie.

Sherrie brought this recipe back from a teahouse in Wales…We start with a tasty mixture similar to ground beef stroganoff, and top it with a “roof” of mashed potatoes & shredded cheddar.  Served with a green leaf lettuce salad & roll.

Chicken, Crab & Swiss on Wild Rice
This recipe is one of Sherrie’s favorites! Our chicken breast is topped with a delicious mixture of cream cheese, Swiss, imitation crab, mushrooms & green onions and served with wild rice, a lettuce salad and a roll.

Roast Pork & Parmesan Filled Cannelloni
Our pasta is filled with pork roasted in white wine until it’s melt in your mouth tender, Parmesan & a host of delectable seasonings, then baked in a Swiss cheese sauce & a robust red sauce. Served with a salad & a roll.

Very Berry Chicken Salad with a Cup of French Onion Soup
Our very berry salad is perched on a nest of green leaf lettuce topped with bite-sized bits of seasoned chicken breast, fresh strawberries & raspberries, & our signature Creamy Raspberry dressing. Served with a steaming hot bowl of our delicious, homemade French Onion Soup topped with melted Swiss and Parmesan cheeses.

Italian Meatball Sandwich a Casseruola 
Our casserole layers crusty bread spread with cream cheese, herbs & mayo, Italian meatballs, creamy Mornay & garlic tomato sauces & Italian cheeses to put a new twist on an old favorite. Served with a salad & a roll.

Chicken with Spinach Artichoke Dip on Wild Rice
Our seasoned chicken breast filet is topped with a creamy spinach artichoke dip, Italian cheeses, and a trio of colorful baby bell pepper rings. Served on a bed of wild rice pilaf with a green leaf lettuce salad and roll.

Anne of Green Gables Raspberry Cordial Chicken
Our lightly seasoned chicken breast is topped with a sauce made with fresh raspberries & juicy, ripe peaches, spiked with Peach schnapps. Served with long grain and wild rise with a green salad and roll.

Turkey, Bacon, Provolone Croissant with Spinach Artichoke Dip
Our twist on an old-fashioned club is to layer slices of smoked turkey breast, provolone cheese, crisp bacon, baby lettuce and our creamy spinach artichoke dip. Served with a green leaf lettuce salad.
